Reflexology in Eastbourne
PLEASE NOTE: As of Monday 13 July 2020, the government has confirmed that foot reflexology treatments are permitted to resume in England. As reflexologists we always work with a high level of hygiene, but currently there are further protocols and requirements that must be followed. I am currently spending some time getting myself prepared and studying the relevant documentation to ensure my COVID safe working practices, and intend to start offering hands on treatments again in September.
During this period of lockdown, I have completed part 1 of Reproductive Reflexology training with Barbara Scott of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists. The course provides techniques that aim to support people suffering from reproductive conditions, alleviating symptoms and helping couples to improve their chances of conceiving.
As part of this course I am required to complete case studies, so if you feel that this could be you, I am offering ****HALF PRICE**** treatments. As I am currently working online, we would begin with a detailed consultation via video call, as there is a lot we could do even before hands on treatments. Please get in touch if you would like to further information.
Hello and welcome to Reflexology Eastbourne. I'm Siobhan and I am a fully insured, qualified reflexologist, a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR) and listed on the Complementary Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) accredited register. I have undertaken further study in Maternity Reflexology which supports the work that I do with Muma Nurture charity, and Mindful Reflexology which specifically supports clients suffering with stress, anxiety and depression.
I work from a therapy room moments from Eastbourne station, which makes it easily accessible from surrounding areas in East Sussex including Hastings, Lewes and Bexhill. I am also working as a mobile reflexologist in and around the Eastbourne area
You may have found your way here because you'd like to try reflexology for the first time, maybe because you are suffering with physical or emotional symptoms that you cannot seem to clear.
You may have had reflexology before but are wondering if it could help with symptoms you are experiencing right now.
Maybe you are looking for a new method of stress relief, or maybe you just want to treat yourself to an enjoyable experience and deep relaxation.
Common reasons for seeking reflexology are:
Reflexology works at a personal and individual level, it can work differently for everyone at different times, so the best thing you can do is give it a try!
There is growing evidence and acceptance that a large proportion of illness can at least in part be attributed to stress. Many traditional doctors are turning to a more lifestyle based approach to treating and preventing illness; with diet, exercise, sleep and stress management being the main focus.
The stress response from daily life can leave us on almost constant high alert and this changes the physiology and functioning of the systems in our body. This means that we are not performing at our best mentally and physically, and over a period of time this can lead to more serious health problems. Managing our stress levels is a major factor in managing and supporting our health.
Reflexology is an effective way to manage stress and therefore improve your overall health and wellbeing. To read more about reflexology see here
If you are still wondering if reflexology could help you, I am very happy to have a chat over the phone or email to discuss your specific needs and answer any questions you may have.
I currently work from a therapy room very close to Eastbourne station, making it accessible for people in areas such as Hastings, Lewes or Bexhill. Alternatively, I work as a mobile reflexologist in the East Sussex area so can travel to you in your home if that is most convenient.
I am very excited to say that I am now also a qualified Baby Reflex practitioner! Classes are offered as either one to one or group training to enable you to treat your own child using the Baby Reflex techniques. I offer baby classes which are suitable from 4 weeks old or toddler classes which are suitable for children from around the age they start walking. For more details see here.
